Annie Gardner Double Sailstice Celebration

Eat, Sail, Love - the wedding of Annie Gardner and Eric White:

Good things come in pairs.  Pairs of hulls, pairs of people, pairs of celebrations. The June 21 wedding of renowned sailor Annie Gardner and Eric White made for a nice pairing.  Combining their wedding celebration with the Summer Sailstice celebration was one perfect pairing and all done with friends sailing a fleet of 12 paired hulls, Sunsail catamarans, in the BVI.  The ceremony was held on Sandy Cay at Latitude N18 44', W64 71' which had a name change to Annie's Isle on June 21, 2014!

The world knows herding cats is an impossible challenge but, somehow, the pair managed to do just that when they corralled all twelve cats to anchor out in front of Sandy Cay for the perfect sailor's wedding photo. Of course Sandy Cay was just a part of the fun of an extended BVI wedding and sailing celebration.  Sailing, sunshine, friends and celebrations all look like the perfect way to start a marriage and sailing season!

Since June the Southern California sailor reports she's been having a great summer racing small cats while also on the prowl to find the ideal cruising cat.  Look for Eric and Annie to be anchored off a beach near you soon.

Sailors paired off to form a heart on the beach at Sandy Cay.
